Creative Video Director – James Deckinger
A traditional, concept first art director, James has developed advertising campaigns for some of the most revered brands in the world.
While at Wunderman Cato Johnson, James wrote the first ever Sony commercial that was shot in high-definition. In addition to Sony, he was responsible for 1-2-1 communications for Xerox, Citibank and Quicken Insurance.
In 2004, while working for RNCD, James implemented a unique approach to create the new advertising campaign for The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. By shadowing scientists and doctors over a one month period, moving stories were discovered, and a memorable campaign was born. Following RNCD, from 2004 to 2008, he was added to the exceptional creative staff at Ogilvy & Mather to lead concept development on American Express, IBM, Cisco, Pfizer’s Zoloft and several global initiatives for Proctor & Gamble.
Since 2008, as a full time consultant, James has excelled as a hired gun creating 360 marketing solutions for TOMS, The Wall Street Journal, HSBC, AbbVie, Enfamil, HBO, Novartis, Sanofi, United Healthcare and Danbury Hospital.
