Gennaro Eats – Press Release

Fine dining influencer Gennaro Pecchia to host digital series “Gennaro Eats”

60 second video series to premiere Thursday, November 16th @thebeachnyc on Instagram

New York (November 13th, 2017) — New York City based creative video production agency, The Beach is announcing the upcoming release of their new, 60 second made for Instagram video series: “Gennaro Eats”. The series will star Gennaro Pecchia and is slated to premiere on Thursday, November 16th on The Beach’s Instagram channel @thebeachnyc.  Gennaro is a fine dining expert and one of the original New York City food influencers, writing and blogging about NYC restaurants before Instagram’s time.  Utilizing his insider connections and exclusive access, Gennaro will get us inside the kitchen, to not only meet with the chefs, but see them cook the restaurant’s signature dish before he gets to eat it.  Each week will feature a different restaurant that is helping shape NYC as one of the worldwide capitals of food.

As Gennaro describes it, “I feel like my entire career as a food influencer and blogger has been leading towards this. It’s just another way for me to share the thing I love most about New York: the food”. “Gennaro Eats” craftily combines the popularity of social media food videos with the professionalism and execution of a network cooking show. “Gennaro is a fixture within the New York food scene. He’s well respected and liked amongst restaurant owners and chefs in the community, and he has a passion for fine dining. We’re really excited for viewers to meet the chefs and see the dishes being constructed through his eyes”, explained series creator and The Beach’s executive producer, Michael Fox.

The series promo can be viewed on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BbcVKBqA0wu/.  In the premiere episode, Gennaro goes behind the scenes with chef Chris Zabita at Society Cafe, a renowned West Village restaurant located within the Walker Hotel.

The series is set for release on Thursday November 16th on The Beach’s Instagram account (@thebeachnyc), with an extended version available a week after each episode debuts, through their facebook page (www.facebook.com/thebeachnyc).  New episodes will be released every other week.
